A factory founded by Victor BOCH in 1841 in La Louvière
in Belgium. In 1906 the most prominent production was that of Delft decorations
and until 1920 was in the classical tradition of a great crockery-shop. All
along the factory retained its industrial trend of a mass-production and thanks
to Anna BOCH increased it and with the arrival of Charles CATTEAU in 1906 in the
best possible way. Following the International Exhibition of Decorative Arts in
1925 and the Autumn Salons of Paris, it provided the art galleries of the
Parisian shops : Primavera, Pomone and La Maîtrise. From then on it followed
the great artistic currents of the day : japanism, africanism and avant-gardism,
in order to achieve a high-quality production, easily recognized among others.
