He is among the greatest of the beginning of the 20th century : in 1911 the Galliera museum exhibits as many of his pieces as CHAPLET and DELAHERCHE.
He seems to have been forgotten since. Even if Henri GANDAIS doesn't share the same interests as his famous peers, his works are nevertheless of great quality and more often than not concerning his "céramiques d'art" quite bold.
